A complete tour to get to know one of the most impressive natural icons of Patagonia
If you are looking for a full day trip where you can enjoy the mountains, lakes and unforgettable landscapes, this excursion is ideal. The Cerro Tronador is the highest in the Nahuel Huapi National Park and is surrounded by incredible postcards: forests, glaciers, waterfalls and viewpoints that will surprise you at every stop.
The journey starts from meeting points close to your lodging (between downtown Bariloche and km 8 of Bustillo Av. or Pioneros Av.) Along the way, we border the Gutierrez and Mascardi lakes, We stopped to rest, take pictures and enjoy the surroundings. We visit places like Black Beach, the Camping Los Rápidos and the Heart Island viewpoint.
The most awaited moment comes in Black Snowdrift, A unique glacier that descends from the summit of the Tronador with a dark color that makes it different from anything you have ever seen. There you will have time to walk around, take pictures and appreciate the immensity of the mountain.
Later, we pause in Pampa Linda, You can have lunch at one of the inns in the area and relax before returning.
The excursion runs from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm and includes transportation and guide in Spanish. It does not include meals or the entrance fee to the National Park, which is paid separately.
